Teaching and Facilitating Experience

During my time at The University of British Columbia, I have been fortunate enough to discover and explore my passion for pedagogy. As a graduate student, I dedicated time to developing my teaching and facilitating skills as a Teaching Assistant, as a volunteer, via professional development opportunities, and by carrying out projects which aimed to communicate pedagogical issues. These experiences have led me to become a Graduate Program Facilitator at the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology in spring of 2011 and a Sessional Lecturer for the Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences since January 2012.
